Matt Kenseth, the 2003 NASCAR champion, has signed a multi-year extension with Roush Fenway Racing.The 36 year-old driver has been with Roush since his rookie of the year season in 1998 and has 16 wins. Kenseth’s last win was at the 2007 season-ending race at Homestead-Miami Speedway.Kenseth’s teammates, Carl Edwards and Greg Biffle, signed three-year extensions earlier in the year. Yesterday I finally finished watching ESPN Ultimate NASCAR (Vol. 1): The Explosion - NASCAR’s Rise. This documentary takes you through the basic history of NASCAR and evolution over the years. Next year the NASCAR Truck series will come to a cross roads. Without a Series sponsor, and now that both Dodge and Ford have pulled financial support from the series.
